Messages we can act on
- A guide that is out of date: name the guide and the section, and say what the official SARS page now shows.
- A broken link: say which page it was on and where it was meant to go.
- A tool that gives a wrong result: say which tool, what you entered, and what you expected.
- A confusing explanation: say which guide and which step lost you, so that part can be rewritten.
- A missing topic: say which SARS task you looked for and could not find.
Please do not send personal tax details
Do not put tax numbers, ID numbers, passwords, one-time PINs, or banking details in this form. Do not ask about your own refund, assessment, debt, or tax account here — this site cannot see your record and cannot contact SARS for you. For your own tax affairs, use the official channels in the contact details guide: sars.gov.za, eFiling, the SARS MobiApp, and SARS branches by appointment.
How to write a message that gets fixed fast
Name the exact page, quote the section if you can, and describe the problem in your own words. For a correction, add the official SARS page that shows the current position. A message with a page name and a clear example can be checked in minutes; a general message with no page named usually cannot be acted on at all.
